We had to take a look at a Cone of Learning. The cone showed that the more we are hands-on with material, the more we can remember it two weeks later. This is mostly true I think for people who are active, hands-on learners. But, if someone is more of a visual learner, they would need things written down and would remember more of that material than the hands-on things.
